POWER INC. is a Community Development Corporation established by CLFMI. POWER Inc. was founded in 1996 as a separate 501c3 corporation in fulfillment of the Christian Love Fellowship (CLFMI) vision- To build a Christian community that is Christ sufficient in all of its facets: spiritually, economically and educationally.The mission of POWER Inc. is to model Christian principles and to promote interdependence, collaboration and empowerment when working with individuals, groups and families in our community. As a faith-based agency, we are committed to provide services that will foster a positive impact on the lives of families, in an effort to rebuild communities and foster growth. The Board of Directors of POWER, Inc. sets the general direction and policy for the agency, it serves as the decision making body for POWER Inc.
